Shameless plug, and a reminder
I gave an interview regarding preservation framing with Christine Anderson of Guardian Art Services.

This morning I read an article by Hugh Phibbs, retired Coordinator of Preservation Services at the National Gallery of Art, I was reminded that the words Preservation and Conservation are not interchangeable. Preservation keeps the artwork or object in its current state. Conservation includes a restorative action, cleaning or touching up of degraded work. I work with highly talented individuals with degrees in conserving artwork and objects. My career is to keep the artwork or object in the condition I receive it (preserved) the best way possible.
Just something to ponder.
In other news, Milwaukee has passed the mandate for wearing PPE masks in public. If you are visiting and forget one, I have plenty here (I use for sanding and spray paint). I also have hand sanitizer (a gift from the wonderful Carrie of Lela Boutique) and I do clean the order table.
I also wish to give a reminder that if you are not comfortable coming to the Third Ward, I am welcome to pick up your artwork, design via zoom, email or text, and deliver when finished. Please feel free to call or email to set up times.
